Enzyme therapy

Enzyme therapy is an alternative treatment method in which certain enzymes, which according to the theory of enzyme therapy have a healing or prophylactic effect, are injected or ingested. Enzymes or ferments are protein-containing substances that cannot reach the blood through the stomach or intestines. There is therefore no indication of what is to be understood by enzyme therapy as the placebo effect.
