Hildegard von Bingen | The Hildegard medicine

The term Hildegard medicine was introduced in 1970 by the doctor Gottfried Hertzka, who refers to writings of St. Hildegard of Bingen. The spread of Hildegard medicine focuses on the German-speaking world, especially Austria and Germany. In a 2003 Forsa survey, 3 percent of German respondents said they were using Hildegard medicine.

It is attributed to traditional European medicine (TEM) and also used in some health resorts.

The methods include herbal medicine, nutritional rules, excretory techniques and gemstone therapy.
